BE, MSc, DIC, CEng, MIEI

A Chartered Engineer with 25 years of experience in the construction industry. In 1997 he achieved a Masters Degree from Imperial College London, one of the world’s leading universities for Civil Engineering. He has extensive design experience working on complex projects. He works closely with clients and contractors to understand their problems and deliver cost-effective solutions.

MSc, BSc, Dip Eng, CEng, MIEI

A founding director of SDS in 2003 and part of the team that grew the company into what it is today. He is a chartered engineer and member of Engineers Ireland with extensive structural/civil engineering experience leading design teams in projects including residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructural projects. In his position as a director of the company, he participates in business strategy, design concept development and design reviews.

Peter Gannon

Peter Gannon

Partner & Director

Partner and Director with thirty years’ experience in consultancy practices, working across a broad range of projects. Responsible for planning and the production of the associated drawings, details and specifications. Has worked on a wide variety of projects that range from single bespoke residential units and redevelopments to mixed-use developments, small, medium and large scale residential and commercial projects, educational projects, bespoke childcare projects and facilities, and a variety of capital infrastructure projects in the water, wastewater and environmental services industries.

Ray Moran

Project Management

A Chartered engineer with over 15 years in the construction industry. He has extensive experience having worked on a diverse range of Civil & Environmental projects. A very experienced project manager who has lead design teams in projects including multi storey residential developments, commercial developments, nursing homes and civil works. His qualifications include an honours degree in Civil Engineering from Napier University, Scotland, obtained in 2006. He also studied for and was awarded a post graduate diploma in Fire Safety Practice from Trinity College Dublin in 2011 & a chartered member of Engineers Ireland.

Connor Daly

Geotechnical Engineering

A Chartered Engineer with extensive experience in the concept development and execution of geotechnical solutions globally.  He has led major projects in North America and the Middle East predominantly in the industrial, commercial and infrastructure sectors.  Since joining SDS he has been involved in the design and construction commercial projects as well as the development and monitoring of value added geotechnical solutions for our clients.

Mark Mulchrone

BIM & Design Build

Over 15 years of experience in the Construction industry including Civil/structural design, BIM and Project management. Extensive experience in project management leading design teams on Design Build projects including residential developments, commercial developments and Civil works. Very experienced in steel frame and precast construction working directly with the subcontractor on design and coordination of both methods of construction. In the last 5 years he has overseen the transition to BIM for the coordination/delivery of multiple design build projects which is rapidly becoming the accepted industry standard. Working directly with subcontractors on shared BIM’s has led to increased accuracy and efficiency in the construction process, whilst providing a level of detail to the entire project team which has proven to be beneficial to all.

Chris Roberts

Warehousing

A very experienced regional and international project manager who has over 22 years in the construction industry developing small, medium and large scale warehousing design up to 55,000m2. He has extensive experience having worked on a diverse range of Civil & Structural projects. He is highly proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, Navis Works and has managed the production of drawings for large commercial developments, Warehouse Distribution Centres, infrastructure and structural engineering.

       Seamus Giblin

         A senior project manager with over 16 years experience across international construction projects.

Shaun Pugh

An incorporated engineer with over 10 years experience, specialising in temporary works and structural design.

Jose Navarro

A civil/structural engineer with extensive experience in FEM models & BIM environments. Having great experience in detailed design, especially with steel frame & concrete structures. Very proficient with BIM software, he is comfortable dealing with other consultants of the industry providing structural solutions & efficiencies where possible

Ken Whitehead

Over 30 years of work experience as a Project Manager in water projects in Ireland, the UK, and Internationally. Prior to joining SDS, Ken worked for several multi-national world leading, engineering consultancy organizations.

Brian Hope

A results-oriented, ambitious professional with excellent commercial awareness and business acumen. Wealth of experience gained in commercial, business development and project management spanning more than 25 years. Proven contribution at senior management level with the ability to influence, drive and engage others to deliver projects on time and within budget. A very experienced negotiator with a vast working knowledge of strategic development, CRM, pipeline management (including identifying and profiling target clients domestically, regionally and globally) and delivering detailed presentations to new and existing customers.

Rachel Jordan

Ambitious Project Manager with 18 years’ experience across international markets underpinned by highly developed management, technical and communication skills. Ability to lead projects from the front, motivating and coordinating delivery from project teams and forging strong client relations.
