LIDL EPSOM

LIDL EPSOM

| PROJECT BRIEF

SDS Design Engineers acted as Civil/Structural Engineers on this outstanding Lidl mixed use development in Epsom`s Upper High Street. The development compromises of a 1,427m2 two storey retail store with undercroft parking which was opened in August, 30 residential apartments, six affordable housing units and 112 parking spaces. The actual store site in total occupies an area of approximately 1.2 acres, the whole development is spread over2,44m2.

| PROJECT EXCELLENCE

The Upper High Street site was a brownfield site and has stood empty for years. There is a fantastic `living wall` installed with specially cultivated plants and its own water feed and drainage system, adding some colour and nature to what otherwise would be a very urban environment
